So this week I've made the demo of The Bear And The Admiral available, and I thought I should write a little something here to go with it! This is my first game and, having spent a lot of 2020 lockdown time on it, it is now nearing completion. It is influenced by all the 2d games I grew up on, particularly on the SNES, and is populated with the type of strange cartoon aliens I've been doodling in notebooks since I was five. The full game is mostly level based, with the levels spread across six worlds. The demo contains the first of these worlds, giving the player a chance to shoot, grenade and jetpack their way around and maybe start to feel at home in a world of brightly coloured nonsense...
